Given his circumstances, one might have expected that United’s Vice President of Operations, Danny Nichols could surely have chosen a safer, less-traveled road when he first began to chart his professional career path. When he decided he might one day try to become a lineman for this electric cooperative he was also shouldering the weight of memories that were mixed with happiness and grief. They were memories that had shaped him, maybe even guided him, but they were memories that had deep ties to this cooperative.
