RIGHT-OF-WAY ASSISTANT – Cleburne
United Cooperative Services is searching for a Right-of-Way Assistant for the Cleburne Operations Department, 3309 N. Main, Cleburne.
This position performs all necessary easement contracts required for new construction, maintenance of lines, right-of-way clearing, and groundwork necessary for electric line inspection program. In addition, this position serves as liaison with all contractors and coordinates efforts of special projects.
Candidates must be a high school graduate or have a GED. Should have ability to utilize office equipment, personal computers and computer terminals. Candidate shall have the ability to read and comprehend maps. Must be able to give, receive and analyze information. Must be able to deal with a variety of people in varying situations with tact and diplomacy. Must be able to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Required to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. This position will work in both outside and office environments. This position will be scheduled for the on-call roster to perform service as a groundman/helper. Applicant should have a stable, verifiable work history and must have a current driver’s license with an acceptable MVR. A pre-employment physical and drug screen are required.
Work hours are 8 am – 4:30 pm, occasional overtime as required.
