MARCH 23—The COVID-19 virus has affected everyone differently, and some members may not be working as much or at all because of it.
Luckily, we live in an area where there are multiple helping hands to assist in times of need. If you or someone you know needs assistance paying their energy bills, please look at No. 11 Financial Assistance under our Members Rights page. We list 12 organizations that are here to help.

MARCH 12—As the world reacts to the COVID-19 events, we want to reassure our United Cooperative Services members that we are here, fully staffed and will continue to provide exceptional service and value 24/7/365. As critical infrastructure, we are committed to maintaining the highest level of reliable electric delivery service today and every day, regardless of COVID-19 or any other potential emergency situation.
At this time, members may continue to transact business with United in every method that they currently have at their disposal: phone, website (www.ucs.net) and in our offices.
We’re following guidance from federal, state and local agencies, including the CDC and other health organizations. We encourage members and have instructed employees to follow the CDC’s recommended hygiene practices to mitigate the spread of the virus.
For members who are ill or suspect that they might become so—or those who are more susceptible to the virus—please feel free to call your local United office or use our website to conduct business with your cooperative.
